About Makos

Hi there! Thanks for shopping at my boutique. My name is Rebecca and I'm the owner of Makos. I started online back in May 2018 and opened a physical location here in Somerset, MA since then serving all of the Southcoast and Greater Boston area. I decided to open my own store after attending college at Johnson & Wales University studying Fashion Merchandising and Retail Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship, as well as working in small boutiques around North Carolina and back here in Boston. After working at these places, I realized our area was missing a small shop with not only cute clothing, but affordable clothing as well. Now here we are!

 

Most of our vendors and designers are based in California, as well as New York and parts of the UK. I've taken the past few years open to find great brands with affordable retail prices and great quality, taking much pride in what we put our name and reputation on.

 

Our sizing ranges are mostly XS-XL (Please refer to our size chart for accurate sizing) and our most items have a good stretch to them! We LOVE a good stretch here. Our items are true to size (again, refer to size chart) and given a good description to help you with your choices - but we are always available to help as well!
